Dr. Vanessa Gerber grew up in Fredericton, NB. She earned a diploma in veterinary technology from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College before attending the Atlantic Veterinary College and receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she moved to NS and practiced in areas such as Mahone Bay and Upper Tantallon. She is thrilled to be joining the team here at East Hants Animal Hospital and to continue to call NS home.

Vanessa has a special interest in ferrets, hedgehogs and other pocket pets in addition to feline and canine medicine and surgery.
